I’m a digital communications and strategic storytelling leader who combines over 10 years of experience managing campaigns and shaping narratives for higher education, nonprofits, and mission-driven organizations with a journalist’s eye for research and editorial rigor. Drawing on my Guatemalan heritage, I produce stories that center Indigenous experiences, migration, and human rights, while also covering science communication, mental health, and climate.

I hold a master’s degree in mass communications from San Diego State University and a bachelor’s degree in film production from Columbia College Chicago, and I now live in the San Francisco Bay Area. Outside work, I volunteer as a bilingual language tutor for a nonprofit, host an LGBTQ+ Meetup group, and enjoy biking, local bookstores, and playing piano.
